What if there was a book that told people how to find a witch? In 15th-century Europe, the Malleus Maleficarum emerged as one of the most infamous texts surrounding witchcraft. Its pages claimed to explain the signs of witchcraft, the supposed powers of witches, and what should be done when someone was accused. But this wasn't simply a book about magic. It helped shape the way people feared, investigated, and persecuted those accused of witchcraft for generations. So, who wrote it and why did people believe it? This week, we're opening the Malleus Maleficarum and stepping into one of the darkest chapters of the witch hunts.
